CONTENT DELETED BY AUTHOR

This page used to have a series of pictures suggesting a possible cannibalism activity. But due to a recent change in the blog, we have decided to bring the blog to a more decent direction (recent and decent rhymes). Besides, those images were not mine. I'll be deleting all the posts that have uncredited images as well. That said, I am deleting the content of this post. Have fun.

  3. If this is not a movie action, which i presume, these people should be traced and killed same way without mercy, then Africans or blacks should learn their lesons via this scene.

  4. United Nation and African Union and other black union all over the world should be alerted of this development. I advise that black should not visit Thailand any more and no business relation should be established with them if this is not checked. Barack Obama of US should be informed and rise to this course. I believe Thailand has embasies all over the world and even in black nations. dissociation with such embassies should be strongly supported by African Union.

  12. People, before you believe any kind of this weirdness inhuman things. please find more facts. I've got some real source to explain what was going out there...

    Part I

The creepy scene with a story describing a ritual cooking corpse into a meal

Some says this is a dare game of those working for a rescue foundation or a ritual to suppress ghost spirit by eating the remains of those deceased.

No matter what is the reason behind this, all photos that leak out has caused such a controversy and really disturbed the public sentiment.

From one email to another, the number of mails forwarded escalated to ten and thousands within days. Many believe the photo is published by rescuers who just want to show-off how fearless they are or by someone seeking public attention.

Sucheep Jirathanakorn, Acting Chief Rescuer of Sawang Pae Paisarn Foundation, Pranburi stated in his interveiw that “There were several cameras. We didn’t meet up very often because some other foundations situate far away in the Northeast. There were about 5-6 cameras taking picture but we don’t know from where [it leaked out]. When my friend first saw it he was a bit shock too because he didn’t sent it but he was also in the pictures. We looked the email address and it seems to have started by an email named “littlegirl”. That person is the one writing the subject of the forward email as meal and human meat or something of the sort.”

Our crews have tried to trace back this forward mail to understand what happened. And we finally found out.

The scene took placed in a cemetery run by Hua-Hin Service Foundation. So we traveled there to reveal the truth and happened to meet with the Chair of the foundation himself.

Following is what Poweng SaeGuay, Chair of Hua-Hin Service foundation, said in the interview with our crews.

Poweng: “Some arrived around 11 a.m., just before the finish of that round. One team is from Chaiyapoom Province. I saw them brought in fresh [corpse]… maybe just one week old. And let other help with it. But nothing happened.”

After that, the truth and the intentions of all Good Samaritans volunteered to help the foundation in this ceremony were revealed with the information we got by talking to the Vice-Chair of Sawang Pae Paisarn Foundation, Pranburi. The scene was real and the body in question was one of thirties that the two foundations cooperated to perform religion ceremony for.

  13. Part II

Crew: “We would like to know what happened in these photos.”
Chowalit, Vice-Chair of Sawang Pae Paisarn Foundation: “In the picture was a ceremony called “Lang Pa Cha” [cleaning the cemetery] held by Sawang Pae Paisarn Foundation. That was our forth time. It is just a ceremony perform by Chinese descendants in Thailand. When any unidentified person or person with no relative dies in Pranburi or the surrounding area, we buried them together. Once the cemetery ground is crowded, we ‘clean’ it by digging all the bodies up to perform religion ceremony [cremation] for them. There were three kinds of bodies that day; the skeleton kind, the decomposing kind and the pretty fresh kind. I believed every “Lang Pa Cha” do the same in that with have to cut the the flesh out of the bone. We cannot put [the body] in just like that because the cremator is not big enough. That day there was a total of 755 bodies comprises of 402 male, 212 female and some children.

So it seems the intention of that ritual, from what the foundation people tell us, is totally different from the spreading rumor. Today the foundation even agreed to show the private video tape recorded that day exclusively to our crews as a proof. Also they took us to the site where this scandalous event took place.

Foundation personnel: “Here was where we set up the tent. And here is where we did it.”

Mr.Chowalit told us it took place around noon on the 13 of last May. Volunteers were cleaning up a corpse [died] just less than a week ago. It was quite fresh. The volunteers have to cut the body and separate the flesh out of the bone to be able to cremate with other bodies more easily.

Foundation personnel: “We did the boiling [of the flesh] back here, away from the sight of other people.”

And for the kitchen utensil appeared in those photos which made people think they were cooking parts of corpse to eat.

Crew: “So here is where you receive the body.”
    Foundation personnel: “Yes. Around here.”
    Crew: “And then what?”
Foundation personnel: “pull off the cover and open up the coffin.”
Crew: “What was the corpse like?”
Foundation personnel: “Still new. We lifted [coffin] up and took the body out, turned the coffin upside down and put the body on top. Then a truck driver vomited, so someone just asked me like can you eat here? Do you dare?”
    Crew: “Why did he vomit?”
Foundation personnel: “Because I was taking the entrails out and he can’t stand watching. Another person asked me whether I can eat, since I already started cutting, but I could. So I had lunch. When finished I put the plate right here and continued with the body.”

That is the answer to how the lunch plate got interprets as having the food cooked from human remains.

Foundation personnel: “It’s like teaching myself to let go”
    Crew: “What were you thinking?”
Foundation personnel: “Nothing much. Just wish that he went well. That he could reach the heaven. Make him cleanest as possible. Get rid of all the smell for him.”
Crew: “So you were not disgusted or anything?”
Foundation personnel: “Not at all… I’m actually sorry so I’m here telling you about the news, what the truth is. Well, not so many people could eat sitting besides a corpse.”
Crew: “You can assured there was no parts of human remains in the food that day.”
Foundation personnel: “No. Just Gourd Soup and Pad Kra Pao [basil sauté]. Just two things”

  14. Part III (the last)

By tradition, any person wish to join the “Lang Pa Cha” ceremony has to observe the Buddhist religious precepts and eat vegetarian food. Also, the cutting of decomposing bodies is generally practice in this kind of ceremony for the easy cremation.

Sucheep Jirathanakorn, Acting Chief Rescuer of Sawang Pae Paisarn Foundation, Pranburi “Typing in some more words, deleting the true information and adding something misleading cause this issue.”

Volunteer 1 “They didn’t cook it for food like what the news said”
Volunteer 2 “Even chicken or pork if it smells who would want to eat. But this is human. Anyone who eats human meat could not be a human himself.”
Volunteer 3 “We meant to do good deed. We want to perform a funeral for the remains of the deceased. Not to eat them like what’s in the news”

The impact is that they are judged by the society.

Sucheep Jirathanakorn expressed “I want to tell the media to look into the truth first. Don’t just tell a total different story or exaggerate it. I was shock reading the news because they didn’t talk to us or visit this place at all. They made a couple calls and came up with this kind of story. It’s bad. We meant well. We wish to make good merit. But it turned out this way”

Miscommunication has altered the act of good intention by some members of our society into an image negative that difficult to restore.

  16. If they dont mean evil, why boil the flesh? What do they want to do with the bone of the corpse and after boiling flesh, what will they do with it?
This is very inhuman as it negate the natural way of buring the dead. We should not try to help God. Your intention will ofcourse be misinterpreted as the public see you slicing fellow humans. Please FEAR GOD AND FORGET ABOUT ANY RELIGION RITUAL. It will lead you to HELL if you fail to REPENT. HELL IS REAL AND IT IS RESERVED FOR RITUALISTS.

  17. Freddy: whatever was happening is not of interest but the way it was done. even if its a disposal case this is beyond explanations and cannot escape my sensitivity. from the way they'r handling this cadaver, its cannibalism so the Thai should spare us all those other details and accept that this is a shame. a sin and needs lots of prayer. where did the respect for the death go??!!

  23. I am Thai and I'd like to explain this. Those photos are real but they're not eating that corpes. It was actually a big cemetery cleaning in Thailand, and those people were the volunteers from many rescue foundations, probably with some medical student observers. When the cemetery is full, they have to remove those unclaimed bodies out and keep only the bones to be later cremated according to Thai/Buddhist believe. This process includes boiling the body to remove flesh from bones easily.

The photos of a man holding a plate looks to me like a normal Thai dish with rice and some
They all look happy, right? Because they think vegies. Normally this cleaning cemetery ceremony takes days to finish (many hundreds bodies), so it's not too weird that they have a lunch break.
what they're doing is supposed to be recognised as a good deed. Too bad the story got badly twisted by the ignorance and lack of cultural difference awareness.

  27. What is shocking is that ordinary Thai people seek to justify these photos, by saying that this is not cannibalism, just good people who are cleaning the cemetry.

This man was someone's son, someones father, someones brother, someones cousing, someones coutryman - is this how Thai Bhuddists treat the dead ? No dignity, no respect ? Posing for photos with trophys - was that a finger or a dick Mr Smiley held up ? OH how they smiled and laughed and posed - what a disgrace to the image of Thailand - no more a 'smooth as silk' orchid !

Just Butchers cutting up meat and hyenas and vultures picking the bones !

Pray that you don't die in Thailand and are buried in an unmarked grave. Or these savages will cut you to pieces, boil your flesh and burn your bones and pose for photos.

Repulsive and Repugnant. Let the dead rest in peace. Let those whose bodies they desecrate come and haunt the sick Thai nation and the Bhuddist monks who blessed this savage backward ceremony. Let them never have peace in their land too and let them suffer the same fate from their children. Especially Mr Smiley.

The curses of all those on the internet on this barbaric Thai Bhudist practise of so called "cleaning the cemetry". Yuck. I feel sick and want to vomit and so do all those who see these photos.

  32. Ahhh, well. Those people who would assume that this is cannibalism probably should avoid traveling outside of their own cultures.

I'm American. I've lived for 15 years in Asia and traveled extensively in Thailand. One thing you quickly learn is not to jump to conclusions. When I first saw these photographs, I assumed they were one of the "compassion brigades" in Bangkok. I didn't realize that there was a Thai tradition of "cleaning the body." I knew about the Chinese tradition, but hadn't realized that it was practiced in Thailand (and now that I think about it, likely Cambodia, Laos and many other countries).

What initially seemed horrific now is strangely beautiful. The beauty is in the selfless act of the volunteers caring for the dead.

    ReplyDelete
  33. thats thier culture...why people jump into conclusion and condemn thai people as cannibalism?...i didn't see anyone of the photos biting the human flesh...i'm not a thai but sense that is thier tradition, i respect them...because i know; before they cut the body...they conduct rituals for that... as what thier explanations said...it was clear...people dont judge them quickly, don't be an idiot...can't you see this people in the photos?... they look like educated...how come they will eat human flesh?..i know it was shocking at first...but please don't be a moron....
